Pictured to the left is Dave Shorter, Director of THE POTTER'S HOUSE Family Counseling and his wife Kathy. This ministry is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit, faith-based ministry. Our counseling is Christ-centered and supported by the authority of God's Word. It is our desire to see you receive the "help" you need, and for God to receive the "glory" He deserves.
Most families are struggling with "something" today. However, not every family can admit they are struggling. Sometimes it is husband and wife; sometimes it may be the children; and other times it may be financial or work related.
We are located in Easley, SC and provide services for a large part of the upstate. If you need help, contact us and we would be honored to work with you. Not every person who needs counseling can afford it - let us assist you. Not every Pastor feels comfortable counseling or has enough time - let us assist you and be an additional resource for your ministry. This is not a ministry used to "proselyte." It is our desire to provide the local pastor and/or church a means of meeting the needs of their people.

You may have a desire to be a part of what we do by supporting this ministry with a monetary gift (one time or on-going). 40% of our clients pay nothing (they don't have it to pay) but receive the same care. For Pastors
Providing a marriage retreat for the couples in your congregation is one of the priorities of this ministry. We can lead a retreat at your location, or we can offer you a "turn-key" weekend that includes accommodations, teaching, and all resources. We can also offer other leadership retreats as well as Prayer retreats. Give us a call and allow us to become an extension of your ministry. Also, if your church would like to be a contributing member of this ministry, your members (and prospects) would receive reduced rates. Give us a call for more information.
